Founder, BraapTrax
Sr. Program Manager, Vail Resorts — Guest Experience Technology
I build the tech that powers the mountain by day and ride dirt bikes most weekends. BraapTrax started as a tool I wanted for my own garage and turned into something I now build for every rider who wants more than a fitness app pretending to understand off-road.

How BraapTrax
Started
The short version: I dislocated my shoulder for the fourth time, finally booked the surgery, and spent the recovery getting bored out of my mind on the couch.
I'd always wanted to get outside more, and now I had adult money and an itch I couldn't scratch from the sofa. So I bought a dirt bike — mostly on impulse, partly because skiing in the off-season wasn't cutting it.
One ride turned into ten. Ten turned into a crew. The sport got under my skin in a way nothing else has. It's now my favorite thing I do.
Strava wasn't built for the dirt. So I built something that was.
I kept reaching for Strava and finding the same gaps — no maintenance log, no real way to rate trail difficulty for two-wheel, no way to track who I rode with and what bike I was on. The numbers were there. The context wasn't.
So I started building. BraapTrax is the tool I wanted: GPS rides, a real garage with service intervals, trail notes that mean something to dirt riders, and a crew layer that respects how we actually ride together.
Day Job
The Career
That Funds the Habit
Leading program delivery for the technology behind ski school operations, instructor tools, and on-mountain experiences across 37 resorts in the My Epic App. Standing up a new agile delivery org on SAFe, coordinating engineering squads, product owners, and external partners.
The bridge between 400+ seasonal front-line staff and the enterprise tech teams building their tools. Operational readiness and rollout of My Epic App, My Epic Pro, and Ski & Ride School. Partnered with engineering on 7-week sprint cycles to ship POS, guest service, and ticketing features.
Owned the $88M EBITDA budget and forecast for Southern New England. Built the $20M CY21 Northeast capex plan and contributed to a $320M lift expansion modeling 19 lifts across North America and Australia.
Worked my way from fulfillment supervisor to leading a $312M product transformation across 7,200+ branded items. Recovered $21M in annualized profit on contract enforcement, drove pricing turnaround that cut bid time from 20 days to under 12, and got recognized in the Staples Rising Stars program.
Ski racing on the side. Adventure tourism internship in New Zealand (GOOT) along the way.
Off the Clock
When I'm Not
On the Bike
Singletrack and dual-sport rides in the Colorado high country with the crew. The reason BraapTrax exists.
Lifelong skier — raced in school, still chase the deepest days I can find in winter.
Long-term restoration project. Slowly bringing it back to honest working condition.
FJ40 restoration. A patient project that rewards every weekend in the garage.
Building an experimental kit plane. FAA private pilot since 2018 — flying is the long-game project.
Trails, alpine lakes, public land. The reason I moved out here and the reason I'm rarely indoors.
